In 2021, I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelors of Arts in English and Film Studies. While at Carnegie Mellon, I was the editor-in-chief of the student newspaper from January 2020 through December 2020. Since then, I've worked or voluteered as a communications specialist, a video publisher, a tutor, and a freelance writer.
With a background in English and Film Studies, I bring a unique perspective and creative flair to my writing. I've contributed articles to local publications, including the Pittsburgh Institute for Nonprofit Journalism and The Northside Chronicle. My writing covers a wide range of topics from straightforward news to captivating human-interest stories.
In my day job in marketing, my experience is primarily with a membership-based nonprofit, where I have successfully created and executed multi-channel marketing plans, utilizing email, content, and social media marketing to reach and exceed organizational goals. My proficiency in analytics and performance tracking enables me to continuously optimize campaigns, delivering measurable results and maximizing return on investment. With a creative and analytical mindset, I am dedicated to driving brand awareness, fostering meaningful connections, and making a significant impact on the success of the organizations I serve.
On the side, I'm interested in continuing education. In the past, I've volunteered with Literacy Pittsburgh. Through the nonprofit, I was connected with an ESL student seeking to pass a High School Equivalency Test. We met twice weekly for a few months, and right now, I am looking for the next opportunity to grow and learn alongside passionate students.
